Mercedes-Benz featuring a Kenwood Navigation Radio upgrade using the COMAND Radio Replacement Module Interface to replace Mercedes-Benz COMAND Radio Driven Audio is now offering the world’s first radio replacement module to work with many Mercedes-Benz COMAND Radio equipped vehicles on the M.O.S.T network.
Many Mercedes radios from 2003 to 2008 vehicles, don’t have Bluetooth or they have outdated Bluetooth that may not be compatible with today’s phones. To find out about upgrading from your Mercedes-Benz COMAND Radio to a new full featured radio, please. Filed Under:,,,,, Tagged With: Reader Interactions. I just bought a JVC KW-V840BT to replace my original factory radio system in my S430. I didn’t realize the analog/digital difference between the aftermarket system and the original one. The install technician told me that he’d have to hardwire the JVC radio to the car to bypass the original digital amplifier. He didn’t say anything about replacing the speakers.
Does your upgrade module do the same thing as hardwiring? Is one approach better than the other? Also, is there somewhere where I can just get a replacement digital audio system to just plug into the MOST system to swap out the original one? After a BRUTAL experience with Visions in Abbotsford, I went to see the guys at Certified. Bought from here before (remote starter), and my work buys all the van decks from here too. These guys really know what they are doing, if they say you need certain parts for an install, believe them. They are very knowledgeable about the product they carry and VERY knowledgeable about the different vehicle install requirements.
