Simple - you don't know how to deal with an.ISO image. I've downloaded that NetWare 5.1 SP7 Overlay ISO image and properly burned it to CD using my CD burning software. I've successfully booted and installed NetWare 5.1 SP7 from that image dozens of times. Here's the deal - you don't copy the.ISO file to a CD - the CD burning software (if you have a good one, and I don't mean DirectCD either) should recognize the.ISO file as a CD image.

Either double-click on the.ISO file and the CD burning software will launch or do a File Open Image and then select your.ISO file. The CD burning software should then burn the contents of the.ISO image file to the CD (and not the.ISO file itself). Netware 5.1 is 3 versions old, so if you but that into the context of Windows you have just been trying to install NT 4 so its no surpise that you had trouble with hardware drivers. When you installed Win2K you were installing the equalent to NW 6. Think of the difference between NT4 and Win2K and you have your reason.
